This is without a doubt our most-asked question. It's actually pretty easy once you've got the first one under your belt.
Gallery Wraps
You need 2" extra ON EACH SIDE for the wrap. Think of it as wrapping a box, and you need paper for the sides. So - a 16x16 finished size becomes a 20x20 when it's submitted. Here's what you do:
1. Open a blank 20x20 file in Photoshop, 300 dpi (or the same dpi as your image). Bring your ruler guides in 2" from the top, bottom, left and right.
2. Place your file into this one on a new layer. What you see in the middle is the FACE of your canvas, and what is outside your guides is the wrap! EASY!
If you have enough real estate in your original file, great! If not, you can:
A. Add a colored or patterned border - ANY color or pattern. Add this extra space on the Canvas layer - not your image layer.
B. Add more space on the canvas layer and clone the sides. We DO NOT, and WILL NOT digitally stretch. If you need help with this, just ask - that's what we're here for!
Standard Wraps
Same as above, only you need 1" extra on each side. The wrap does not have to be a color - the image can wrap as well.
Once again - if you need any type of help at all - please ask. We'll get right on it. We were all new at something once, right? We LOVE educating people about this wonderful and VERY cool medium!
Using the latest in colorfast ink and media technology, we estimate the lifespan of an un-coated image to be roughly 60 years for color images and 100-150 years for black and white images.
All images from Pixel2Canvas are coated with a UV protectant which effectively doubles the colorfastness of our canvases. So you can expect these images to be proudly hung on the walls of your families homes (or space domiciles) for generations to come!
USA - We have a flat rate shipping fee of $19 per order to anywhere in the US, regardless of canvas size or quantity.
Canada - The shipping charge for any order going to Canada is $25. This also includes the duties and taxes, so you wont be charged by FedEx for those later.
International - Shipping to any country other than Canada is $45 per order. However, if your canvas is EXTRA large or you have a large quantity of canvases in your order, we may ask you to pay a little extra.
*Please note that the shipping charges on sale items may be different then the above prices depending on the promotion.
All of our canvases are shipped via FedEx. If the address your canvas is going to is an APO address, the package will be shipped USPS.
There are a few different shipping options available upon checkout through the website. If you do not chose an express option, your package will be shipped via FedEx Ground - The map below shows what the transit time will be. *Please note that the days in transit are
business days.

If you choose one of our express shipping options when ordering your canvas, please keep in mind that the production time of your piece will remain the same. That means that
your canvas will still be in production here for 3 to 7 business days. However, when the canvas is ready to be shipped, it will be sent express (overnight, 2-day or 3-day, depending on what you chose) instead of ground.
We can ship to a PO Box depending on the size of your order or canvas. If you are ordering anything larger than a 16x24 canvas, we will need you to provide a physical address instead.
When uploading an order through the website, your file needs to be a Jpeg. If for any reason you need to submit a different type of file, you can email it to us and we can input your order that way.
Your file can be no larger than 10 megabytes. If your file is too large to upload, try saving it as a qulaity 10 Jpeg instead of the default quality 12. This will have no effect on the quality of your final print.
If for any reason your file is still too big, just give us a call and we will be glad to help you out.
We print in sRGB. Your file can be submitted in either sRGB or aRGB. There will be no change in the color or look of your file when it is changed from aRGB to sRGB.
Legacy is our original canvas material. It has a lot of natural texture to it. This is our most popular material as it brings a little more depth to an image.
Luxe is a newer canvas material that has a tighter, smoother weave with less texture. The Luxe tends to have more of a Matte finish then the Legacy.
All of our canvases automatically come with our Satin finish. The Satin finish has a tiny bit of sheen to it, but it is not shiny. This helps bring out the color and contrast in an image.
We do have a Matte finish option that can be selected upon ordering. The Matte coating has NO shine to it what so ever. A good way to describe how it looks would be to compare it to a chalkboard....dry.
Both coatings are UV protectants that ensure your canvas will last. They are virtually water proof and can be hung in any room of the house, including the bathroom. Just be sure the canvas does not fall into the bathtub ;). If anything is splashed or spilled onto your canvas, feel free to wipe it off with a damp cloth.
All of our canvas prices include backing paper and hanging hardware for the back of your canvas. Both are attached before your canvas is shipped, so you can take it right out of the box and hang it on your wall.
Each canvas is backed with Tyvek backing paper. It is a very durable, high strength paper that is also waterproof. This allows moisture to escape from the inside cavity of your canvas but will not allow moisture in.
The hanging hardware that is attached to your canvas depends on what size it is.
-Any canvas that is 12" wide or smaller will have a Z-Bar (Saw Teeth) hanger attached.
-Any canvas between 13" and 29" wide will have D-rings and picture wire attached.
-Any canvas that is 30" wide are larger will have Beehive Hangers attached; These allow larger pieces to be mounted more securely to a wall and also allow the piece to be re-positioned multiple times to make it level.
Beehive Hangers allow larger pieces to be mounted more securely to a wall and also allow the piece to be re-positioned multiple times to ensure it is level.
If your canvas has Beehive Hanging Hardware attached, there should be Wall Mounting Pins as well as instructions included in the Duck Bag in your shipment. If you did not receive enough wall pins or you did not receive any at all, please email us and we will mail some out to you immediately.
If you need the instructions on how to use the Beehive Hangers, please see below.
Yes! We can drop ship any order for no extra charge. Just put your customers information into the Shipping Address field when placing your order. If the shipping recipient is different than the billing recipient, we assume the order is a drop ship and will not include any information about our company: that includes stickers, invoices, etc.
If we are ever having an AWESOME sale and you do not have your files ready to submit for printing, you can pay for the order now and submit the images at a later date.
To secure your placeholders, order through the website as you normally would and when you are asked to submit an image, upload a thumbnail that says "image coming soon". You can use the one below if needed. You can order as many placeholders as youd like, there is no limit.

When you have your file(s) ready, send an email to info@pixel2canvas.com and attach them to the email. Be sure to include your order number as well as any notes for the graphics team.
If your file is too large to email, you can upload it to our YouSendIt account. Just put this address into your browser and attach your files:
http://dropbox.yousendit.com/pixel2canvas
There is no file size limit if you submit your images this way. We will send you an email as soon as your files are received.
You do not need to submit all of your placeholder images at once. You can order them one at a time or as needed. If any additional shipping charges are required, we will let you know upon receipt of the file.
Your placeholders will NEVER expire, so you can take as long as you need to prepare your files for printing.
Typically the turn around time on an order is between 3 and 7 business days. That means your order will be in production here for 3 to 7 business days before it is shipped out. To see how long your package will be in transit once it leaves, please refer to the FAQ "How will my canvas be shipped?".
If you need your canvas sooner, please chose the appropriate shipping method when ordering and be sure to mention your requested delivery date in the notes on your order.
If you have an urgent request or need your canvas YESTERDAY, please call us on our direct phone line: 702-735-9961.

This may also be the case if your canvas is ordered during one of our promotional sales. If you are worried about when you will receive your order, do not hesitate to give us a call.
You can check the status of your order from the Order History section under the My Account page of the website.
Be sure that your file name, or the name you are giving your canvas on the ordering page, does not contain any strange characters. File names should contain only letters and or numbers.
Apostrophes anywhere will cause an error. So make sure you do not have apostrophes in your file name or in the notes section on your order.
Also make sure that your file is a Jpeg that is 10 megabytes or smaller.
If you are still having problems, please feel free to give us a call or send us an email and we will walk you through the ordering process.
